Lets talk about Christianity in its original form…
Most of us know some Bible stories, but very few of us know the story of the Bible. And it may be surprising to discover it’s a story that doesn’t actually begin in the beginning. It begins with the accounts of a few men who sat down to record the death and resurrection of Jesus. It begins with the words of his followers who were compelled to document the events that had changed everything for them—because they knew it could change everything for us.
The final authority of the Christian faith is the person of Jesus-not the Bible.
We believe Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead… but not because the Bible tells us so. It's better than that!
Ever had a disagreement that ended with, "It's all good"? When someone says that, it's rarely all good.
"It's all good" has become a term we use to smuggle our fears, faults, and feelings into our future. That simple phrase keeps us from paying attention to the things in us that really need our attention.

It may just be an old cliche, however, it just keeps haunting so many of us. So the question remains: Is the grass always greener on the other side?
Only one person can ensure that we end up somewhere on purpose. And that person isn’t in the House of Representatives or the White House. They’re in our house. Every morning when we look into the mirror, we’re looking at our greatest leadership challenge.
Have you ever been hurt by someone who just couldn’t listen long enough to understand? Perhaps in an effort to be right, they damaged the relationship that could have been ok with a some patience and curiosity. We've all been on the other side of that coin too. We may have won the argument, but we lost relationally. What if we were more concerned about trying to make things right, rather than being right? It's possible to "right" someone right out of our lives. If we can learn to listen, we can learn, the more we learn, the better we understand, and the better chance we have of protecting ourselves from our big mouths.
Jesus told his friends and followers how they would identify themselves. It wouldn't be about what they believed, agreed with, or disagreed with. It would be all about how they LOVED PEOPLE.
"Love God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind."
2000 years passed... and he hasn't changed his mind!
How cool would it be to wake up every day with purpose, passion, and motivation? Would you be willing to let God disturb you in order for that to happen?
John 3:16 says that “For God so loved the world he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
The cool thing about this is that there’s no special time or place you have to do this. As long as you’re breathing you can make the decision to follow Jesus. Click below to hear more!

If you hear the words "turn" and "church" used in the same sentence, what automatically comes to mind?
"TURN OR BURN" maybe?
This message, though titled "TURN, TURN, TURN," included no yelling, no condemnation, no emotional plea....
Just very good thoughts and instructions, straight from the bible.
What is love?
What is the opposite of love?
Why do we celebrate Valentine's Day?
Scott Seppalt grabbed the mic and answered all these questions (and some) in a message called LOVE.
Have you ever felt Exhausted, Overwhelmed, Over-scheduled, Anxious, Isolated. Dissatisfied.
"Simplified living is actually about doing more than doing less. It's about being who God called us to be, with a wholehearted, single-minded focus."
As we start a new year, it is important to look back at BOTH the good and bad decisions made last year. We will take a look at what Jesus desires from those who choose to follow him.
